Forefront Health is a really good site with many good tips for those who suffer from insomnia and low thyroid including hashimotos. The two that stand out for me is the carrot salad recipe which helps lower estrogen (ladies, belly fat is estrogen dominance).

The other tip? Take a glass of orange juice to bed with you (add a little Celtic salt and gelatin). Before bed, have a sip and when/if you wake up during the night, sip again.
You won’t find this information from any other thyroid site. Most doctors know little about hypothyroidism. Feel free to take what serves you and put what doesn’t on the back burner.
