Making Changes with hypnosis
Hypnosis is a wonderful way to effect remarkable changes in your life. Whether it be dealing with procrastination, weight loss, self image, self sabotage, fear of driving or flying or whatever else is blocking you from moving forward.
Many people have misconceptions about hypnosis–some think they will do things that aren’t in their nature or that they will reveal things they want to keep secret. Everyone has a critical faculty which is like our gate keeper. You won’t quack like a duck unless you want to and no one is going to suggest you do silly things. There’s a lot of misinformation out there. No one is going to control you. It’s really you who does the work, the therapist is simply a guide.
In 1984 I earned a doctorate in clinical hypnotherapy after having graduated from the Petrie Institute in Manhattan. I studied NLP with Annie Linden, who was, back in the day, called the first lady of Neurolinguistic Programming. When I was 48 years old, I started acupuncture school and was trained by the late Professor John R. Worsley in Hallandale, Florida. Since then I have studied many different healing modalities and feel that hypnosis is a perfect companion to acupuncture/energy medicine. Often it can stand alone to help bring about needed changes regardless of your age or how long you’ve had the problem. Perhaps you have an unhealthy food craving or you wish you had more self confidence–I’m happy to discuss your concerns with a free ten-minute phone consult.
